Artistic Statement

My work is rooted in the complex narratives of identity, migration, and belonging. Through interdisciplinary mediums such as video, performance, and installations, I seek to confront the realities of living as a DACAmented individual in the United States, navigating both the privilege and precarity that accompany this status.

In my practice, I aim to interrogate systems of power and identity while giving form to the quiet yet powerful stories. The narratives I create are deeply personal yet collective, offering a space to reflect on the universal struggles of immigration, adaptation, and cultural preservation.

By blending visual storytelling with performance, I hope to foster empathy and understanding, challenging audiences to question their assumptions about identity and migration.
